What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

due to the above can't help but feel you maybe able to push for a cgm.
Thanks, I'm reluctant to have a thing stuck to me 24/7 unless it becomes medically necessary. The morning readings are more for my own curiosity, it's more important to do the pre- and post- meal ones at this stage.

7.2 today, not in bed but I was up for the loo 3 times in quick succession so decided to stay upright and test. I had a mini carbfest last night so rather surprised. Not going to complain, if it stays like this I might not need a second medication.

Back from three days of camping at the Kettle River….very beautiful and a really great campsite. The provincial parks in BC are lovely.
Didn’t test blood while away but did when I got home….5.6
I’m very interested to see my next A1C results (end of month) I have added way more carbs (for me) and haven’t noticed any huge change …..but I’m not always testing. Maybe it’ll give me a big wake up call….stop the carbs….or maybe not.
My peonies are I full bloom, gosh they’re lovely!

5.2 at 7:23! Ha! Yes, very precise time, only because I looked up at the cooker clock as the metre was counting down from 5 :joyful:

My wonderful daughter bought me 2 trees for my birthday which finally arrived yesterday. They’re already about 3m tall! She’s coming to plant them for me this afternoon on her day off. I’m so excited. I’ll have to give them a good watering every evening. Good job I have a 15m hose!
I love peonies @Bcgirl

Have a fun Friday everyone x

7.8 this morning but getting up a lot later than at home and my diet not good. Still enjoying the delights of greek island of Kos, holiday great but food a nightmare.
@missmuffet, @RosemaryJackson the beaches are just north of Kos town and we cycle there having a bit of an explore every day. I shouldn't complain but the weather is 33C every day, not a cloud in the sky and not the best for a leisurely bike ride but the views, beaches and little roadside tavernas well worth the visit.

libre 3.6 fingerprick 4.1 directly after breakfast. lot later posting today, hot hot hot outside been swimming for half an hour earlier 20ish g carbs for lunch. ontop of 20g snacks to get back above 5 after the swim. currently 3.9 going down a little. by time typed 3.7 will deal with low in a wee bit if necessary. cutting the grass after lunch with this mornings swim maybe was a little much
